Wow...Photographs by Adam Ong, a Malaysia-based wedding photographer, just blown me away! The very first time I saw his engagement, pre-wedding, and post-wedding photographs with newlywed Steven and Emily on facebook, I knew I must share these lovely pictures with my dearest blog readers!

Here you go:

Engagement Portrait
Love the spontaneity of the couple's laughter and of course the natural lighting!
Adam, you just captured the right moment at the right time!

* Perfect Blooms & Decor Tuesday *

Are you hosting a Christmas Party next week and scratching your head for some clues on decorating the special occasion? Hope we come just in time for your holiday decor shopping! The following three holiday dinner decorations are all inspired by Christmas trees and formality of the event.

FORMAL
Inviting your business partner for a formal dinner at home? Let see how color combo of green, gold, and brown give you the wow factor...to maintain the formality (gold) and not losing the warm factor (a lot of candles) of the holiday season (snowflake ornament).

From left: Polish Christmas Tree from Martha Stewart, Table Setting with Flowing Fabric from Country Living, Felted Snowflake Ornament as seen in Country Living

COCKTAIL
Having friends coming over to your house for a cocktail party? It is a little girlish (yes, it is pink, although I am not a big "pink" fan, but I think a moderate and careful touch can cheer up the holiday season). A pretty way to dress up the fun cocktail hours at home - Pink/White/Champagne!

CASUAL

Never missed the good time with family members...Home sweet home ^.* The little girl (she is adorable) made me miss my family in Malaysia so much!

Anyway, our white/red/green holiday dinner inspired by a Christmas tree with an Asian-flair seen in Martha Stewart.com, an artificial bonsai with lanterns and birds.

* Fashionista Monday *

Wow...It is just 10 days away from Christmas Eve and 17 days from New Year Eve (only 17 days left for year 2009)! Some people are busy making last minute flight bookings, putting up Christmas/New Year decorations, and baking some homemade cookies as personalized holiday gifts for family and friends.

With all the busy schedules around, have you found the dress to attend all the parties (maybe it's your bachelorette party?) and family gatherings? If you have not gotten one, we found a few and would like to share with you today. No matter a formal, cocktail or just a casual dinner, we have them all for you ^.*

Inspiration from Real Weddings Friday

Happy Friday everyone!
It's so cold and windy here in the New York City. Stay warm!

For those who stay home tonight, here's my little inspiration board behind the idea of having the Parisian Weddings Week.

1st Row (from left): (leftmost and rightmost) Holiday Table Settings as seen in Blueprint Magazine November/December 2007 Issue, (top) French-inspired living room via Pink to Green, (bottom) French Chic Living Room via Decor Pad
2nd Row: Interior of French Chateau by Punam Bean via Elizabeth Anne Designs, Chandelier from Blueprint Magazine November/December 2007 Issue
3rd Row: Newlywed posed in front of the French Chateau captured by Punam Bean as seen in Elizabeth Ann Designs, Chateau Plates - Amsterdam, - Provence, - Basel, all from Anthropologie, Table Setting as seen in Blueprint Magazine November/December 2007 Issue

From home decor, holiday table setting, chargers, architectural plates, chandelier, feather, to bridal shots in a French Chateau, everything comes together beautifully. You may tune into a more formal celebration by holding your wedding reception in a French Chateau as we show the bridal shots above OR turn to a relax, laid-back backyard/private estate wedding reception with a few French elements as seen on our Moment-Capture Thursday series posted yesterday.

Good night and hope you all to have a GREAT weekend!

Sharing with you today...
A French-themed Wedding by Phose Studios, Dallas, TX {seen in Southern Weddings}

Don't miss out the bride and her bridesmaids' hairstyle (Marie Antoinette, French Queen's signature hairstyle) as well as the bride's green and ivory bouquet (even though I am not a big rose fan, I like the ultimate look of the bouquet...beautiful)!

* Epicurean Wednesday *

For all French epicureans and dessert-lovers out there, I am sure you have heard and tasted the macarons. It is a traditional round meringue-like dome with a flat base French pastry made of egg whites, almond powder, icing sugar, and sugar.

The colorful eye candy macarons by the famous French Laduree Bakery were featured in
Marie Antoinette (2006 film). Marie Antoinette is a biographical film written and directed by Sofia Coppola. It illustrated the life of the French Queen in the years leading up to the French Revolution. Below are some photos from the film found at Ann Mah's Journalism and Food Blog.

If you are a bride/groom who wants something special and different than a cake, I will say go for a macarons wedding tower! Furthermore, you have the choice to choose any flavors and colors that match your wedding colors! Let's see some inspirations from Amour Amour and Laduree below.

And finally, here's the macarons from Laduree Bakery. Their packaging are nice and neat. Why not cherish your wedding guests by sending them home with a pretty gift box full of eye candy macarons?

Hope you have a SWEET Thursday ahead!
