Back in February, the editors of BRIDES magazine invited fashionistas and newbie designers alike to create a dress that embodied the theme of "Visionary Romance". Amy Wong Micucci's goddess gown made the cut!
Check out the November/December issue of BRIDES to see Amy's dress on the cover. The winning dress will be manufactured exclusively by David's Bridal, and it is available for a limited time only (Running from size 0 to 16, priced at $550.00 - very affordable!).
I visited David's Bridal newest branch in Sixth Avenue Manhattan with a friend of mine last Saturday and I saw a bride-to-be put on this gown. She looks absolutely stunning, the dress is simply elegant and beautiful, suitable for almost all body shapes (be it a petite or plus size bride). And, not forget to mention the beautiful fabric-floral at the sash. This is what define being stylish and gorgeous without breaking the bank! Groom will like this. Hmm...at least my future husband will love this concept ^.*

So what do you think about this dress? Is it very similar to one of Vera Wang's Spring 2009 collections we posted a few minutes ago?
If you are a bride who is planning on a budget, you can just grab this gorgeous dress from David's Bridal by paying 80-85% less than a Vera Wang gown for the similar look. Of course, if you can afford a Vera Wang gown, go for it without hesitation (it happens only once in a lifetime, anyway)
